Take over an existing app

Yes — we take over React Native apps.

Buyers keep having to guess at this one, so, plainly: we take over existing apps, React Native included. Whether a project ever moves to Flutter is a conversation we have project by project, after we have seen what you actually have.

How an engagement starts

With a codebase audit: we get it building and stable, then give you a straight recommendation — patch it, rebuild the one subsystem that is actually broken, or start again.

What it costs and how long it takes depend on what you hand us — a four-screen app and a four-year-old fleet platform are not the same job — so that is settled contract by contract. Send us the repo and we will tell you quickly.

After the audit

Maintenance on a monthly plan

Uptime and crash monitoring, dependency, SDK and OS updates, store-compliance submissions when Apple or Google change the rules, backups, and a set amount of scheduled work each month. App plans start at $600 a month and are sized to the product — app-store management and live integrations sit above that floor — and we quote yours once we have seen it.

Security handled like the job it is

We will sign an NDA before we get access to anything.

See it shipped

The Gift Fitness was six years of app maintenance: we built it in 2018 and kept it running through 2024, and it is still live on both stores. That was our own code rather than a codebase we inherited. The maintenance relationships running today are websites — Solay Counseling and Dr. Kamala since 2021, Somos Votantes since 2022.

Getting started

01

Send a few sentences

What the app is, what it is written in, what is broken, and your deadline. Use the intake form on the contact page → or email contact@longsoftware.io. Both go to the same place.

02

Same business day, a person replies

Not an autoresponder. That reply is one of two things: the questions we need answered to scope it, or a straight no with the name of someone better suited.

Send us the repo.
