Built to ship, then kept alive.
Most app development shops hand you a codebase and disappear. We're a Washington, DC studio that offers to stay on the hosting, the store listings and the update cycle for as long as the product is running. That offer stands on every build, and it is required on none.
Flutter app development
One Flutter codebase for iOS and Android, backed by Firebase. Search, payments, chat and video are wired in from proven building blocks rather than written from scratch.
- Flutter for iOS and Android
- Firebase auth, data and functions
- Algolia search, Stripe payments, Agora video
- TestFlight and Play Console release management
Webflow & custom web development
Custom web applications where the logic is the product, and Webflow builds where your team needs to change copy and pages without calling us.
- Custom web apps on a Firebase backend
- Webflow sites your team can edit
- CMS structure that scales with your content
- Analytics and integrations wired in from day one
Product design
Interface and flow design before a line of code, so the build has something to aim at. Screens, states and the empty, error and loading cases most builds skip.
- User flows and information architecture
- High fidelity screens and components
- Design systems that survive the handoff
App maintenance & support
Software is not finished when it launches. We keep hosting healthy, app store listings current, and dependencies up to date.
- Hosting and uptime monitoring
- App Store and Play Store submissions and reviews
- SDK, OS and dependency updates
- Bug fixes and small feature work on a monthly retainer
Two situations we get asked about most
For nonprofits & institutions
You have a board, a procurement process and a campaign date. Accessibility, multi-language sites, and one system across your state programs →
Take over an existing app
You already have an app — React Native included — and you need someone to pick it up and keep it running →
How an engagement runs
Scope call
Bring the idea. We map what v1 actually needs, flag the risks, and give you a straight read on cost and timeline.
Design sprint
Flows, information architecture and high-fidelity screens — edge cases included, not just the happy path. You approve what gets built before a line of code is written.
Build in weekly releases
One Flutter codebase for iOS and Android on a Firebase backend. You watch it come together on TestFlight from the early weeks, not at the end.
Launch
App Store and Play Store submissions, review wrangling, hosting, analytics and store listings set up properly.
Keep it running
Hosting, store listings, SDK and OS updates, fixes and small features on a monthly retainer. Launch day is the middle of the engagement, not the end.
What it costs
Fixed-scope app build
From $37,000
MVP to v1: design, iOS and Android from one codebase, backend, launch. Fixed price, set before we start — no meter running.
Webflow site build
From $3,700
Design and build of a marketing or practice site your team can edit without calling us. Page count, languages and integrations set the number.
Ongoing care & maintenance
Sites from $100/month · Apps from $600/month
Your site or product stays live and current, and the small work keeps getting done. Hosting, maintenance and email are inside the plan. A Webflow site sits at the lower floor; a mobile or web app carries store submissions, SDK and OS updates and live integrations, and starts at the higher one.
Those are floors, not quotes. We still do not publish a range, because the honest one is wide enough to be useless — a five-page practice site and a two-sided marketplace are not the same product. A minimum is the useful half of that answer: it tells you whether we are in your league before you spend an hour on us. The rest comes from scope. Tell us what you are building, what has to be in version one, and when you need it live, and you get one number for the whole thing — and every inquiry gets a reply from a person the same business day.
How an engagement is papered
The same on every engagement, whether you are one founder or a team that needs the scope in writing before anyone signs.
A written proposal before anything starts
Scope in plain English, a fixed price, milestones, and what is excluded — in writing, so the people who were not on the call can read it and decide.
Common questions
It depends on scope, and we would rather give you a real date than a brochure number. Your fixed-scope quote comes with a concrete timeline.
You do. Everything we build — code, designs, accounts — belongs to you from day one.
One codebase that ships to iOS and Android at once, on a backend that scales without a DevOps team. We have shipped this stack before, so your budget goes to your product rather than our learning curve.
Usually — and that includes React Native, Swift and Kotlin codebases, not only Flutter. We start with an audit of the codebase and infrastructure, then give you a plan: ongoing maintenance, or a rebuild recommendation, with honest reasoning either way.More on taking over an existing app →
Founders and small teams who need real software shipped, and organizations that need a site their own team can run. If what you want and what you can spend do not line up, we will tell you straight and early — and map a phased or web-first path that still gets you to market, rather than taking a deposit and finding out together.
