Bedrock Assets

Migrated twice, three years apart: their original site onto WordPress in 2022, that site onto Webflow in spring 2025, and their own team publishing ever since.

The build

Migrated twice, three years apart

Bedrock Assets already had a website when they came to us in 2022. We migrated it onto a new WordPress site — a new design and a new build, with their content carried across. In spring 2025 they came back and we moved them again, this time off that WordPress site and onto Webflow. Two platform migrations, four years, one studio.

One migration off someone else's site, one off our own

Moving a site from WordPress to Webflow is a service we sell, and Bedrock has been through a platform move twice. The 2022 migration started from a site we had not built, so the job was reading someone else's structure and content and carrying it onto a platform their team could run. The 2025 migration was the easier kind: we had written the WordPress site ourselves, so the Webflow build started from a structure we already knew. Five pages came across — Home, Services, About, Resources and Contact — and the CMS was wired into three of them.

The client publishes the site, not us

Bedrock's Resources page is a dated reading list with pagination, one entry a month, and it is current: the newest entry is dated August 2026. Client testimonials on the home page and the content on About run off the same CMS. We built the collections and handed over the keys; their team has been filling them ever since.

A firm whose product is expertise

Bedrock sells Fractional (part-time) Chief Operating Officer services, so the site has to carry credibility rather than a catalogue. Five practice lines — strategic planning, process optimization, profit improvement, leadership development and financial analytics — sit above a plain "How It Works" sequence, six named industries and a Chicago skyline. The animated counters on the home page carry Bedrock's own track-record figures: theirs, on their site, not results of this engagement.

Four years and two platform migrations later, the site is live, current, and run by the people it belongs to.
